Sylvie Riviere

Sylvie Riviere has extensive work experience in human resources and financial management. Sylvie is currently serving as the Human Resources Director at Polygon Group since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an HR Senior Business Partner and later as an HR multi-sites Manager at R&O, Seafood Gastronomy from March 2017 to November 2021. From 2013 to 2016, they held the role of Senior HR Manager at Gap Inc./Gap, where they managed a team and implemented HR strategies. Sylvie also worked at PAREXGROUP SA as an HR Manager for L&D/Recruitment from November 2008 to April 2013, where they oversaw training and recruitment processes. Sylvie also served as the Sales Administration & Key Accounts Manager at PAREXGROUP SA from January 2001 to October 2008. In their early career, Sylvie worked at Marks and Spencer, where they held various financial management roles from 1995 to 2001. Sylvie started their career as an Assistant Marketing at Schlumberger Industries from 1992 to 1994.

Sylvie Riviere obtained a Master's degree in Human Resources Management and Development from the Institute of Social Management between 1999 and 2011. Prior to that, between 1989 and 1992, they attended the Business School of La Rochelle, focusing on Gestion des entreprises. In addition to their formal education, Sylvie has obtained several certifications from LinkedIn in areas such as interviewing job candidates for recruiters, integrating new recruits, negotiation fundamentals, performance review fundamentals, and delivering employee feedback.
