Scott Cooper

Scott Cooper is a versatile professional with experience in engineering, broadcasting, and mathematics education. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at PolyJohn Enterprises Corp. since September 2023, Scott has previously held roles at Calvin University as an On Air Announcer from October 2019, where exceptional communication skills were showcased through hockey play-by-play commentary. Prior engineering experience includes positions as a Controls Engineer at JR Automation, and as an Automation Electrical Engineer at Lacks Enterprises, where Scott focused on automating systems and troubleshooting machinery. Earlier roles included software engineering internships at Gentex Corporation and various positions at Calvin College, highlighting a strong foundation in both technical skills and community engagement. Scott obtained a degree from Calvin University after completing high school at Chicago Christian High School.
