Donald Fischer

Donald Fischer currently serves as the Zoning and Planning Official for the City of Fort Payne, Alabama, since February 2023, while also holding the position of Warehouse Operations Manager at Polymer Industries LLC since October 2022. Previously, Donald Fischer was the Human Resources Manager at Parkdale Mills, Inc., and Human Resource Director for the City of Fort Payne from February 2018 to November 2022. Donald Fischer has an extensive background in fire services, having worked with the City of Fort Payne Fire Department from May 1988 to July 2018, where roles included Fire Chief, Assistant Fire Chief/Fire Marshal, Captain, Lieutenant, and Firefighter/Medic. Donald Fischer holds a degree from Athens State University, completed between June 1997 and August 1999.
