Jake Yormak

Jake Yormak is a Managing Partner at Story Ventures since July 2016, focusing on investments in automated systems, particularly in data capture, data organization, and machine intelligence. Previously, from March 2015 to July 2016, Jake served as an Attorney at Gunderson Dettmer, advising startup technology companies on corporate formation, financing, governance, intellectual property strategy, and liquidity. Prior experience includes working as an Attorney at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP from October 2013 to March 2015, where representation involved complex debt and equity transactions for public and private companies as well as financial institutions. Jake holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from New York University School of Law (2013) and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania (2009).
