Berkay Ozcelik

Berkay Ozcelik is a Product Development Manager at PolyNovo Limited, focusing on the development of next-generation devices for tissue repair and reinforcement since November 2017. With a strong background in research and development, Berkay has also served as a Senior Development Scientist and Research Scientist at PolyNovo, leading projects in the same domain. Prior experience includes serving as an Honorary Research Fellow at The University of Melbourne, where Berkay specialized in polymer-based biodegradable constructs for regenerative medicine, and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, synthesizing Metal-Organic Frameworks for CO2 capture applications. Additional roles include Research Fellow/Project Manager at CSIRO, where Berkay developed antimicrobial coatings for biomedical applications, and Innovation and Research Manager at Chemistry Australia, fostering collaboration between the chemical industry and academia. Berkay holds a Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours from the University of Melbourne.
