Sergio Conni

Sergio Conni graduated in Chemical Engineering and in 1987 he began his professional career first in R&D specialist in Montedison, then from 1989 to 2001 in SISAS SpA, he covered various roles in the engineering department and in the Operations activities. In 2001 he joined Chemial SpA as General Manager. The acquisition of Chemial by Polynt in 2008, determines his entry into Polynt Group. Over the years he has held the positions of Foreign Companies Operation Manager (2009 to 2010), Group Sites Coordination Manager (2011 to 2012), and Head of the Specialties Division (2012 to 2014). Since December 2014 he has been Senior Vice President and General Manager of the American Companies of the Group (the USA, Canada, and Brazil) at Carpentersville plant (Chicago, IL). In September 2017 he returned to Italy as Executive Vice President Europe at the Scanzorosciate Polynt headquarters. Since July 2020 he has held the position of Group Chief Operating Officer.
