Abhinav Lakhotia

Abhinav Lakhotia is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales and business development in the pharmaceutical and chemical sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Global Generic Sales and Head of Sales for Asia at PolyPeptide Group since November 2016, Abhinav leads global strategy execution for the Generic API business and was instrumental in establishing and expanding sales efforts in Asia. Prior experience includes a managerial role at Biocon from May 2011 to October 2016, where Abhinav oversaw business development for India and Europe and co-led API commercial sales in Europe. Earlier roles include leadership in generic API business development in India, an internship at Indofil Chemical Company focusing on market strategy, and training at Thermax in product development and marketing. Abhinav holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Shillong, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
