Rene Vestergaard

Rene Vestergaard has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Rene started their career as an Accountant at KPMG and later worked as a Group Financial Controller at IC Companys A/S and ALK-Abelló. Rene then joined Hyperion Solutions as a Consultant before moving to Accobat A/S as a Senior Solution Manager. Rene then worked at CMC Biologics, where they held multiple roles including Vice President Finance and Director Group Accounts. Currently, they are working at PolyPeptide Group as the Director of Corporate Finance and Group Consolidation, where they are responsible for leading and developing international teams, optimizing cooperation between group companies, and ensuring compliance in the finance organization.

Rene Vestergaard attended Hillerød Handelsskole from 1988 until 1991. Following this, they enrolled at The Royal Life Guards in 1991. From 1992 to 1998, Rene studied at Copenhagen Business School (CBS) and obtained an HD in Accounting & Financial Management.
