Ankur Agarwal

Ankur Agarwal has extensive work experience in the packaging industry. Ankur started their career at Polyplex in 2002, where they served as a Business Analyst and Executive Assistant to the Director. During this time, they learned the intricacies of the business and played a crucial role in its growth from $125 million to $500 million in just five years. Ankur also formulated corporate-level strategies for potential mergers and new investments and initiated a green and sustainability drive to improve the company's market image.

In 2009, Ankur joined Polyplex Hydro Group as a Project Manager. Polyplex Hydro Group is a subsidiary of Polyplex that specializes in hydro power projects. Ankur managed various hydro power projects, including small canal-based and run-on-river projects with a total capacity of 40 MW, with an additional 350 MW under implementation.

Ankur returned to Polyplex in 2012 and took on various leadership roles. Ankur served as the Purchase Head for India Operations, where they managed procurement activities for the company's operations in India. Ankur later became the Head of Sourcing, responsible for sourcing materials for the company. From 2015 to 2019, they served as the Head of Supply Chain for the Asia Pacific region. In this role, they oversaw the supply chain operations, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of products to customers. Since June 2019, Ankur has been the Head of Corporate Purchase, leading the procurement strategies for the entire company.

Ankur Agarwal earned an MBA in Marketing & Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, from 1997 to 2001, they pursued a degree in B. Tech in Production Engineering from the College of Technology, Pantnagar. Additionally, during the same time period, they also earned a B. Tech degree in Production from Uttarakhand Jobs. In 2013, Ankur obtained a Six Sigma Certification from KPMG in the field of Six Sigma, with the end year for this certification remaining unknown.
