Jacob Porter

Jacob Porter possesses extensive experience in IT management and system engineering, currently serving as the Director of the Platform Services Group at Asahi Kasei International IT since October 2022. Prior roles include IT Manager for the SED Team at Polypore International and Infrastructure Engineer at Southeastern Technology Group Inc., where Jacob focused on enterprise Microsoft solutions and hybrid cloud implementations. Previous experience as a Distributed Services Support Engineer at Microsoft and Network Engineer at MayerIT further contributed to Jacob's technical expertise in Microsoft technologies. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and Decision Sciences from Louisiana State University, where studies were completed between 1995 and 2001, as well as additional coursework at Southeastern Louisiana University.
