Oran Smith

Oran Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and operations within the energy sector. Currently serving as a Sr Project Manager for Core Projects at Qcells USA Corp. since November 2023, Oran has also held significant roles including Chief Operating Officer and VP of Operations at EnXchange from August 2021 to August 2023. With expertise encompassing resource and infrastructure planning, Oran has contributed as an Advisor/Consultant at Prism Energy Advisors LC from July 2016 to August 2021, and coordinated logistics at The Shaw Group before that. Prior experience includes serving as a Field Superintendent at Chesapeake Energy, where responsibilities involved planning a 500-mile disposal system. Oran’s military background as a Tactical Systems Operator in the United States Marine Corps complements an impressive academic portfolio with an MBA from Cornell University and a Master of Science in Energy Management from Oklahoma City University.
