Axel Elmqvist

Axel Elmqvist is a Director in Decarbonisation Growth Equity at Verdane, where they focus on driving sustainability initiatives. Previously, Axel held various roles including Sustainability Lead at Verdane and Senior Consultant at Oliver Wyman, gaining extensive experience in financial services and sustainability projects. They earned a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with Management from Imperial College London, graduating with First Class Honours. Axel has also participated in significant organizational efforts, such as co-leading the UK's largest student-run startup competition while serving as Student Director of Operations at Imperial Create Lab.
