Jay Franks is a Senior Industrial Designer at POLYWOOD since October 2021, bringing extensive experience in product development and design. A significant tenure at Brown Jordan Inc. included roles as Vice President and Director of Product Development from December 2007 to November 2019, following positions as Senior Product Designer. Franks also held the role of Senior Product Designer at Winston Furniture Company and Meadowcraft. Early career experience includes work as a Packaging Designer at Smurfit Stone Corp. Franks holds a Bachelor of Industrial Design from Auburn University, obtained in 1998.

We've been following our passion, since 1990, to create comfortable & stylish, all-weather outdoor furniture made in the USA. Our lumber is made from HDPE (high-density polyethylene) which is also used to create milk jugs, detergent bottles and bottle caps. Our lumber has exceptional resistance to corrosive substances such as oil, salt spray and other environmental stresses. It requires no waterproofing, painting, staining or similar maintenance when used in outdoor applications.
