Kanon Cozad

Kanon Cozad has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and companies. Starting in 1994, they worked as a Senior Consultant and Trainer at Empower Trainers & Consultants. Kanon then served as the Director of Data Warehousing & Information Architecture at Applebees International from 1996 to 1998. Following that, they joined UMB Bank as the AVP & Director of eCommerce Development for two years. From 2000 to 2001, Kanon was the Director at Immedient, where they managed a team and developed a clean sheet application development practice. Kanon returned to UMB Bank and held various positions such as AVP & Manager of Custom Application Development, VP & Manager of Technical Infrastructure, and VP & Director of Application Development. In 2009, they became the SVP & Director of Enterprise Architecture at UMB Bank before leaving in 2010. Kanon then joined TranSystems as the SVP & Chief Information Officer, overseeing IT strategy and operations. In 2015, they worked as a Freelance Writer for BMWBLOG, covering BMW-related topics. In 2017, they became the Managing Principal at Pianosa Technology Partners, offering fractional and virtual Chief Information Officer services. 2019 saw Kanon serving as a Partner at StellaMSP LLC and the Director of CIO Advisory Services at Pomerol Partners.

Kanon Cozad attended William Jewell College from 1985 to 1989 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature/Letters.
