John Stephens is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in private equity and investment management. Currently serving as Partner and Chief Financial Officer at Pomona Capital since 2011, John oversees a global investment firm specializing in private equity secondaries, funds of funds, and co-investments, with over $17 billion in commitments. Prior to that role, John was a Managing Director and Partner at EMAlternatives, LLC, focusing on private equity investments in Asia and emerging markets from 2006 to 2011. John holds an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a BA in Russian and Eastern European Studies from the University of Washington.
