Yasmin Omer

Yasmin Omer currently serves as the Assistant Vice President of Complex, Legacy, and Principal Gifts at Pomona College since September 2025. Prior to this role, Yasmin held various positions at the University of Chicago from July 2019 to September 2025, including Associate Dean and Senior Director of Development for the Division of the Social Sciences, as well as Director of Development and Associate Dean for the same division. Yasmin's earlier experience includes serving as Director of Development at the University of Chicago Library from April 2013 to July 2019, as well as Director of Major Gifts at The Jewish Museum from September 2010 to March 2013. Other roles include Senior Development Officer at NYU School of Law and Campaign Gifts Officer at the New York Public Library. Yasmin's career in development began at WGBH Educational Foundation as Senior Development Associate from April 2003 to October 2008. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University and a DEC from College Jean-de-Brebeuf.
