Yasmin Omer

Yasmin Omer is a seasoned development professional with extensive experience in higher education and the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Complex, Legacy, and Principal Gifts at Pomona College since September 2025, Yasmin previously held multiple roles at the University of Chicago, including Associate Dean and Senior Director of Development for the Division of the Social Sciences, from April 2013 to September 2025. Prior to that, Yasmin was the Director of Major Gifts at The Jewish Museum from September 2010 to March 2013 and served as a Senior Development Officer at NYU School of Law for a brief period in 2010. Yasmin holds a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University, earned in 1995, and a Diplome d'Etudes Collegiales from College Jean-de-Brebeuf obtained in 1992.
