Rhoda Kalema

Rhoda Kalema is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in underwriting and credit analysis. Currently serving as Underwriting Manager at Ponce Bank since August 2015, Rhoda previously held the position of Commercial Loan Underwriter, VP at CMS Bank, where responsibilities included overseeing a $240 million loan portfolio and assessing client creditworthiness. Prior to that, experience as AVP Credit Analyst at Hudson Valley Bank focused on loan evaluations for various types of financing, while earlier roles included Credit Analyst positions at The Park Avenue Bank and Sterling National Bank, where skills in financial analysis and risk mitigation were developed. Rhoda began the career as a Paralegal, providing legal documentation support, and holds a Master of Science in Management & Systems/Enterprise Risk Management from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Real Estate Development from Baruch College.
