Flynt Barksdale

Flynt Barksdale, PWS, has extensive experience in environmental services and ecological consulting, currently serving as Principal and Director of Environmental Services at Pond & Company since February 2017. Previous roles include Associate Principal, Project Manager, and Senior Ecologist, demonstrating a progressive career in project management and ecological research. Prior to joining Pond & Company, Flynt worked as an Ecologist at Woodard & Curran and as a Scientist at Atkins, focusing on ecological resource surveys for transportation projects. Flynt's background also includes experience as a Wetland Ecologist at 5H Technologies, a Graduate Research Assistant at Auburn University researching wetland hydrology, and positions as a Wetland Technician and Field Technician in earlier roles. Flynt holds a Master of Science in Forestry (Wetland Ecology) and a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Auburn University.
