During their time at Weston Solutions, James was responsible for managing health, safety, and environmental compliance aspects of the organization, achieving significant improvements in safety metrics and reducing workplace accidents. Additionally, they identified federal contract opportunities and generated over $60 million in sales for the organization. James also had a leadership role at the Society of American Military Engineers, where they held various positions and led the organization to Top Large Post Worldwide recognition. In 2015, they joined Pond & Company as Associate Vice President and Principal, focusing on Environmental, Health, and Safety.

James D. attended the University of South Alabama from 1983 to 1988, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree. Their field of study encompassed geology, physics, biology, chemistry, and mathematics.
