Matthew Myers has over 10 years of experience in the engineering field, specializing in asset integrity and corrosion. Matthew is currently working as the Central US Corrosion Operations Director at Pond & Company since June 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Asset Integrity and Corrosion at Audubon Companies from July 2022 to June 2023, and as the Manager of Asset Integrity and Corrosion from November 2019 to July 2022. Before joining Audubon Companies, Matthew worked as an Engineer III - Asset Integrity at Williams from November 2017 to November 2019. Matthew Myers completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering, with a minor in Mathematics, at Texas A&M University from 2008 to 2012. Matthew later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Oklahoma State University, starting in 2021 and expected to graduate in 2024.

In addition to their formal education, Matthew has obtained various certifications. In 2014, they received certification in Rectifier Maintenance & Repair from Universal Rectifiers Inc. In 2016, they became a Cathodic Protection Technologist through NACE International. In 2017, Matthew achieved the Engineer-in-Training designation from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers. Continuing their professional development, they completed a course on Electromagnetic Interference from Safe Engineering Services & technologies Ltd. in 2018.

Matthew later obtained certifications related to their field, including the Level 1 Certification in Remaining Strength of Corroded Pipe - Historic and Current B31G Criterion, RSTRENG and Defect Assessment from Technical Toolboxes in 2020. In 2021 and 2022, they earned Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt certifications, respectively, from Aveta Business Institute.
