Richard Fangmann

Richard Fangmann has over 26 years of experience in Transportation Engineering and Planning. Richard has worked for various companies, including Pond & Company where they held the position of Vice President of Transportation since 2010. Richard has expertise in long-range transportation plans, short-term traffic operations studies, and conceptual design. Richard has extensive experience in traffic operations analysis, development of improvements for complex urban corridors, and the application of innovative intersections. Prior to joining Pond & Company, they worked at Jacobs as Senior Project Manager/Transportation Planning Group Leader from 2008 to 2010, and at Carter & Burgess as Senior Project Manager from 2006 to 2008. Richard also served as a Senior Transportation Engineer at Day Wilburn Associates from 1998 to 2006, a Transportation Engineer at Gray Moskaluk Associates from 1994 to 1998, and a Traffic Signal Design Engineer at Cobb County Department of Transportation from 1992 to 1994.

Richard Fangmann completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology in 1991. Richard then went on to obtain a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the same institution in 1992.

In terms of certifications, Richard Fangmann obtained their Professional Engineer (PE) certification from various institutions. Richard obtained the PE certification from the Georgia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in 1996. Subsequently, they obtained the PE certification from the South Carolina State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Surveyors in 2011, the Alabama Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in 2011, the Louisiana Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board (LAPELS) in 2014, and the Florida Board of Professional Engineers in 2014. Additionally, Richard Fangmann obtained the Registered Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification from the TRANSPORTATION PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION BOARD INC in 1999.
