Pavel Šťastný

Pavel Šťastný has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Pavel started their career at Pond5 in 2017, where they held the positions of Photo and Video Curator, Team Leader, and currently serves as the Content Operations Lead. Prior to Pond5, Pavel worked at Open Art Nová Paka, z.s. as a Lecturer starting in 2011. Additionally, they held a Lecturer role at SDMO - Sdružení pro komplexní péči při dětské mozkové obrně, z.s. from 2011 to 2016, where they led a photography club for disabled clients and organized annual photography exhibitions. Pavel also served as an Assistant to the international jury at the photo competition Czech Press Photo at CZECH PHOTO o.p.s. from 2012 to 2015, where they assisted in evaluating and documenting submitted photographs.

Pavel Šťastný attended the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague from 2011 to 2017, studying Ochrana přírody/Nature Conservation. Before this, they attended Gymnázium Litoměřická in Praha 9 – Prosek from 2007 to 2011, although the specific field of study and degree were not mentioned for this period.
