Hazem Elmeleegy is the founding architect at Ponder. Prior to this, they served as an advisor at Tribalist from January 2018 to December 2020. Hazem was also the Sr. Architect at Turn from January 2012 to December 2018, which was acquired by Singtel/Amobee. Elmeleegy has also worked as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at AT&T Labs, Inc. from January 2010 to December 2012. From January 2018 to December 2022, they worked as Data Infrastructure and Analysis at Google. Hazem was also a visiting researcher at Google from June 2008 to December 2008 and at IBM T. J. Watson Research Center from April 2007 to August 2007. In May 2004, they visited INRIA as a researcher. Hazem Elmeleegy is also a cofounder and software engineer of eSpace, where they worked from January 2001 to December 2003.
Hazem Elmeleegy has a PhD in Computer Science from Purdue University, an MSc in Computer Science from Purdue University, and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Alexandria University.
