Tuomas Mikkola

Tuomas Mikkola is a seasoned manager currently at Ponsse since January 2022, with prior experience as Team Lead at Finavia from August 2021 to January 2022. Mikkola served as Head of Team and Product Owner at HSL Helsingin seudun liikenne from October 2016 to August 2021, focusing on agile software development and leading service management initiatives. Previous roles include Head of Team and Service Manager within the Technology Solutions Department, as well as Product Owner and Information Systems Specialist at UPM, where Mikkola was involved in GIS projects and operational planning. Mikkola holds a Master’s Degree in Forest Sciences from the University of Helsinki and a Bachelor’s Degree in Contemporary Dance from the University of the Arts Helsinki.
