Debra Honegger

Debra Honegger has extensive experience in the field of education. Debra began their career as a Special Education Teacher at Olympia School District in 1991 and worked in that role until 1997. From 1998 to 2001, they served as a Teacher Consultant at Novi Public Schools. Following that, they worked as a Special Education and Early Childhood Supervisor at Miamisburg City Schools from 2002 to 2009. From 2010 to 2013, they were an Early Childhood Instructional Coach at Union Public Schools. Debra then held the position of Instructional Coach at Regional Office of Education #17 from 2013 onwards. Debra also served as an Education Coordinator in Bloomington/Normal, IL from 2013 to an undetermined date. In 2014, Debra became an Online Education Developer and Facilitator at online IMPACT Illinois State University until an undisclosed date. Debra joined Illinois State University as an Instructor in 2015. Most recently, Debra worked as an Early Learning Instructional Coach at McLean County Unit 5 School District from 2018 until 2019. Currently, they are employed as the Director Of Curriculum And Instruction and Coordinator of Early Learning Program at Pontiac CCSD 429 since 2019.

Debra Honegger's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Illinois State University from 1984 to 1988.
