Valeria Puga Álvarez currently serves as a non-resident associate research fellow at the Vienna International Institute for Middle East Studies (VIIMES) and a par revisora at CEDIA since June 2024. Valeria also holds the position of Professor of International Relations at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, where Valeria teaches courses on Introduction to International Relations and Social and Political Processes of Latin America. Additionally, Valeria has experience as a visiting fellow at the University of Public Service, focusing on Latin American politics and international disarmament.
