Tim Moreton

Tim Moreton has over 18 years of experience in the tech industry. Tim began their career in 2002 as a PhD Researcher for the University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory, working on the XenoServers project. In 2005, they became the CEO of Kianga Technologies. In 2007, they joined Tideway Systems as a Senior Software Engineer and later moved to Apple in 2013 as a Principal Engineering Manager for Data Infrastructure. In 2020, they were an Advisor for Vana and in 2021, they became a Co-Founder of Ponto, a company that connects global financial products to local economies. Most recently, Tim has been the CEO and Head of Engineering at cLabs since 2018.

Tim Moreton received their PhD in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge in 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a BA Hons, MA Cantab in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge in 2002.
