Leo Wang

Leo Wang is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in the autonomous driving and software engineering sectors. As the Chief Financial Officer and Global HR Head at Pony.ai since 2016, Leo has played a pivotal role in developing the company's autonomous driving system, focusing on HD mapping, localization, and system integration. Prior to that, Leo served as a Senior Software Architect at Baidu USA, leading initiatives in map and localization technologies for autonomous vehicles, as well as developing a high-performance reporting system for the Ads monetization group. Leo's early career includes significant contributions to big data analytics at IBM and DB2 development. An academic background includes a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a BS in Information Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
