Irmak Berktas

Irmak Berktas has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 2008 as a GIS Specialist for NETCAD YAZILIM A.Ş. and Yolsu Engineering Services. In 2012, they became a Graphic Designer & Web Editor for Study Group USA. In 2014, they began working as a Self-Employed Designer, and in 2016, they became a UX/UI Designer for Lucy Survey and Wanda Inc. In the same year, they also enrolled in a User Experience Design Immersive program at General Assembly. In 2017, they became Co-Founder/CEO of Pony Express HQ and an Instructional Associate (IA) for General Assembly.

Irmak Berktas has a diverse educational background. In 2002, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Geology Engineering from Hacettepe University. In 2011, they attended Embassy CES English Language School and obtained a Proficiency Level. From 2012 to 2014, they attended the University of California, Berkeley and obtained a Graphic and Interactive Design / UC Berkeley Extension Professional Sequence in Graphic Design. In 2016, they attended General Assembly and completed both a Product Management Immersive and a User Experience Design Immersive. Additionally, in December 2014, they obtained a certification in Graphic and Interactive Design from UC Berkeley Extension.
