Abhinav Saini

Abhinav Saini has a diverse range of work experience. Abhinav began their career at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd, where they completed a summer internship focused on integrated 3D seismic interpretation. During this internship, they worked with software such as Petrel and gained knowledge in various aspects of geological interpretation.

Abhinav later joined Cairn Oil and Gas for a four-week summer internship, where they worked on seismic conditioning and interpretation projects using ProMax and Petrel software.

Abhinav served as an advisor and steering committee member at Spring Fest, where they spearheaded a team for the creation of websites and portals. At Prithvi IIT Kharagpur, they held roles such as coordinator and executive head, where they were responsible for sponsorship, web team management, and promotion of the annual symposium.

Furthermore, Abhinav served as the president of the SEG (Society of Exploration Geophysicists) IIT Kharagpur Chapter. In this role, they organized events, invited guest speakers, and acted as a link between the SEG body and the student community. Abhinav also oversaw the department fest, Prithvi.

Abhinav Saini completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Exploration Geophysics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Abhinav attended the institute from 2015 to 2020.
