Zi-Yuan Gao

Zi-yuan Gao has extensive experience in the actuarial field. Zi-yuan is currently serving as the Director of Actuarial Services at PopHealthCare since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at naviHealth as an Actuarial Consultant from June 2018 to March 2023, where they were responsible for preparing annual reconciliation reports, designing models, refining processes, and maintaining accurate models. Before joining naviHealth, they worked at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield as an Actuarial Assistant from June 2013 to June 2018 and as an Actuarial Finance Graduate Intern from February 2012 to June 2013. Additionally, they gained experience as an Actuarial Intern at Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company in May 2011.

Zi-yuan Gao completed a GMBA degree in Finance and Health Care from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, Zi-yuan Gao obtained a BBA degree from the Wisconsin School of Business between 2006 and 2010, with a focus on Actuarial Science, Finance, Investment & Banking, and Risk Management & Insurance.
