Basir Ahmad, P.E. is a seasoned civil engineer specializing in bridge inspection and engineering, with extensive experience in leadership roles spanning multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Bridge Inspection Team Leader at Popli Design Group since March 2023, Ahmad previously held similar positions at MP Engineers + Architects and Alpha Corporation. Other roles include bridge engineer at Gannett Fleming and assistant team leader at Alta Vista Solutions and B&H Engineering PC. Ahmad began a career in engineering after earning a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology from Old Dominion University (2015-2017) following a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Stony Brook University (2004-2008).
