Justin Cober-Lake

Justin Cober-Lake has a diverse professional background spanning several roles in education, writing, and sales. Currently serving as an Assistant Coach for Boys Varsity Soccer at Nelson County High School since May 2021, Cober-Lake also holds long-term positions as Assistant Editor at Spectrum Culture and various editorial roles at PopMatters since 2003, including Staff Writer and Interviews Editor. In addition, Cober-Lake has been the Vice-President of Sales at InteLex since May 2002, and has contributed writing on Tottenham Hotspur for Hotspur HQ from April 2021 to May 2023. Previous experience includes serving as Pastor of Spiritual Formation at The Well of Nelson, and contributing to Chord Magazine and Stylus Magazine. Cober-Lake earned a Master's degree in English/American Studies from the University of Virginia and a BA in English from Gettysburg College.
