Nia Thomas is an experienced professional currently serving as a Project Coordinator at Thomas Jefferson University within the Jefferson College of Rehabilitation Sciences since March 2024. Previously, Nia held roles such as Customer Experience Leader at Bloomingdale's and Student Employment Coordinator at Goucher College, where responsibilities included hiring support and training for student supervisors. Nia's extensive background also features positions at Nordstrom, where management roles spanned service experience and department oversight, alongside experience in patient services at Penn Medicine and communications support at the Support Center for Child Advocates. Nia holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Thomas Jefferson University, pursuing a degree from 2024 to 2027, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Temple University, completed in 2017.

Our culture bombards us with images that tell us we aren’t young enough, white enough, thin enough, cool enough, femme enough. It tells us that we need to change ourselves to “fit in”. Let’s fight that narrative together. Because you are amazing just as you are, and we want to remind you of that every single day. Poppy & Stella opened in the Spring of 2008, in the Fells Point neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland. The owner opened the doors with the goal of having "something for everyone" in the single location. This continues to be true as Poppy & Stella has evolved throughout the years. Now with two storefronts in Fells Point, one in Ellicott City, and an online shop, we have grown in hopes of inspiring our supporters throughout Baltimore and beyond.
