Heather D.

Heather D. is an accomplished lactation consultant and advocate with extensive experience in the field of lactation support. Currently, Heather operates Bluebonnet Lactation, LLC as the Owner Operator IBCLC since July 2022 and serves as a Parent Advocate for Poppy Seed Health. Between September 2017 and July 2022, Heather worked as a Radiology Scheduler at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center and previously held the position of Perinatal Inpatient Lactation Consultant at THE BREASTFEEDING SUCCESS COMPANY, LLC from August 2019 to May 2021. Heather also contributed as the Lead Breastfeeding Peer Counselor at the St. John's WIC clinic while working with the WIC Nutrition Program from September 2015 to August 2017. Currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Human Lactation at Union Institute & University, Heather combines both practical experience and academic knowledge to support families in their breastfeeding journeys.
