Kathryn Mayer

Kathryn Mayer is a Compensation and Benefits Editor at SHRM since November 2022 and Co-author of the forthcoming book "Disneyland on the Mountain: Walt, the Environmentalists, and the Battle Over Mineral King." Since 2018, Kathryn has also contributed as a writer for POPSUGAR. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Benefits Editor and Conference Chair for LRP Media Group, Editor in Chief for SourceMedia, and various editorial roles at ALM Media, Summit Business Media, and the University of Denver, where a focus was on publication management and content creation. Educational qualifications include a BA in Journalism and English and an MLS in Creative Writing from the University of Denver, complemented by a program at The Denver Publishing Institute.
