Elsie Alvarez

Elsie Alvarez has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Elsie currently holds the position of VP Commercial Relationship Officer at Popular, a role they have held since May 2023. Prior to this, Elsie served as Senior Vice President at FirstBank from September 2004 to February 2023, overseeing a $400MM portfolio and managing various accounts. Elsie also held the same position at Eastern National Bank from March 1999 to September 2004, where they were responsible for business development and administration. Before that, Elsie was the Head of Real Estate and Residential Divisions at Ocean Bank from April 1995 to March 1998. Elsie began their career as a Construction Loan Disbursement Supervisor at Capital Bank in December 1980 and later became the Vice President for the Real Estate Division at Ready State Bank from April 1985 to April 1995.
