Nestor Vale

Nestor Vale is a seasoned banking executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various financial institutions. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Division Manager at Popular since October 2020, Nestor leads the Auto/Wholesale Lending Division. Prior to this, Nestor held the position of Senior Vice President at Popular Auto, LLC from August 2018 to October 2020, and served as Executive Vice President at Reliable Financial Services, where responsibilities included overseeing business development and being appointed as Senior Credit Officer for the Commercial Portfolio in Puerto Rico. Additional experience includes tenure as Executive Vice President at Oriental Bank and Senior Vice President at Scotiabank, where Nestor was a member of the Bank's Board of Directors. Nestor holds a BBA in Accounting and Finance from Universidad de Puerto Rico and has pursued further education through The Institute of Canadian Bankers and Queen's University in Senior Executive Programs.
