Paola Soto

Paola Soto, Psy I/O, is a seasoned professional with a strong background in industrial and organizational psychology and extensive experience in learning and development, project management, and workplace innovation. Currently serving as a Learning & Development HR Specialist at Popular since October 2019, Paola leads initiatives such as the Commercial Credit Business Academy and has held various roles focused on workplace strategy and projects within corporate real estate. In addition to work at Popular, Paola is a licensed psychologist with the Junta Examinadora de Psicologos de Puerto Rico and has led a peer mentoring program with the Asociación de Psicología de Puerto Rico. Previous experience includes mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs at Grupo Guayacán, interning with NASA Ames Research Center on business management projects, and working within human resources at Evertec. Academic qualifications include a master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and a bachelor's degree in Marketing and Human Resources from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras.
