Zahira Rodriguez Gonzalvo

Zahira (Zah) Rodriguez Gonzalvo has extensive work experience in the field of risk management and information technology. Zahira (Zah) has held various senior positions in well-known companies such as Popular, Flagstar Bank, Ally, GMAC/Ally Financial, General Motors, Kmart Corp., Arthur Andersen, and Banco Popular de Puerto Rico. Their roles have included SVP, Division Manager/Head of Financial, Climate, and Operational Risk, SVP Chief Information Security and Privacy Officer (CISO), SVP Head of ERM/Operational Risk Director, and Diversity and Inclusion Strategy Lead, Operational Risk Management Director, and IT Auditor. Zahira (Zah) has also managed IT risk and compliance programs and worked as an IT project manager, QA manager, and software process improvement manager. Zahira has demonstrated expertise in enterprise risk management, operational risk, cyber risk, IT governance, and compliance.

Zahira (Zah) Rodriguez Gonzalvo attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2007 to 2010, completing a Master of Science degree in IT Management with a focus on Information Security Management. Prior to that, they attended Universidad de Puerto Rico from 1990 to 1994, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business with a specialization in Accounting and Management Information Systems.
