Neeloufar Grami is an accomplished academic and leader actively engaged in the medical and scientific communities. Currently serving as Founder & President of the Himalayan Cataract Project Hamilton Chapter since December 2019, Neeloufar also holds the position of Research Assistant at the PHRI Population Health Research Institute, focusing on perioperative cognition and delirium. With a strong research background that includes a senior thesis on the biological mechanisms of smoking-related cardiovascular disease, Neeloufar has held various leadership roles, such as Vice President Academic for the McMaster Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences Society and Vice President of the Foundation For Prader-Willi Research - McMaster Chapter. Neeloufar is pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Toronto, building on a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from McMaster University.
