Immanuel then became a Project Manager, responsible for contractual and financial management, personnel administration, and coordinating projects for USAID. Later, they served as the Manager of Program Operations Services, addressing operational challenges resulting from rapid growth. Finally, they became the Business and Operations Manager, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Practice, leading program operations and monitoring compliance and profitability across the portfolio.

In 2015, Immanuel joined Palladium: International Development as an Operations Manager. Immanuel performed operational management on contracts and cooperative agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and managing financial, contractual, HR, procurement, and subcontract management.

In 2016, Immanuel joined PRB (Population Reference Bureau). Immanuel started as a Program Finance & Operations Manager, overseeing a team supporting program staff with procurement, financial management, and reporting. Immanuel then became a Senior Program Finance & Operations Manager, responsible for managing PRB's financial, compliance, and operational risk, while driving operational innovation to increase efficiency.

Following their undergraduate studies, Immanuel enrolled at Georgetown University to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Conflict Resolution, which they completed from 2008 to 2010.
