Monitoring & Evaluation Manager, Uganda at Population Services International

Baker Lukwago holds a MSc. in Population and Reproductive Health and a B.Sc. in Population Studies, with additional training in M&E and cloud-based Health Management Information Systems (HMIS). With over 9 years’ experience in strengthening the national HMIS for Reproductive Health, MCH and HIV, he has set up functional M&E systems for programs funded by CIFF, USAID, Global Fund, DFID, CDC, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and others that are aligned to the national M&E strategy and embrace program sustainability. He is a member of the MoH Family Planning task force and MoH M&E Technical Working Group. He has worked closely with the MoH to facilitate HMIS review, development and evaluation of the National FP costed implementation plan, alongside other initiatives aimed to build local partner capacity in M&E. He is currently leading the Strategic Information & Learning team at PSI Uganda.
