Jamil Moorad

Jamil Moorad has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and organizations. Since 2015, they have been working with Population Services International (PSI), starting as a Program Assistant and progressively moving up to Senior Associate Program Manager and Program Manager roles. Jamil most recently served as the Head of Program Management - Global Operations, Africa. Prior to PSI, they worked as a Relief Manager at Muchenje Safari Lodge and as a Program Associate at Seanama Conservation Consultancy. Jamil also has experience as a Graduate Student Researcher at Wageningen Economic Research, a Consultant at Centre for Applied Research, and a Junior Consultant at ECOSURV. Jamil'searly work experience includes being an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the Environmental Economics Policy Research Unit, where they conducted climate change policy research.

Jamil Moorad completed a Master of Science degree in Spatial, Transport and Environmental Economics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Cape Town, which they completed from 2006 to 2009.
