Elza Den Hertog

Elza den Hertog currently serves as the Voorzitter Raad van Bestuur at Bevolkingsonderzoek Nederland since February 2024. Prior to this role, Elza held various key positions including Raad van Bestuur at Gelre ziekenhuizen from November 2017 to January 2024, and Zorgmanager at both Westfriesgasthuis en Waterlandziekenhuis and Waterlandziekenhuis from 2015 to 2017. Leadership experience also encompasses a tenure as Voorzitter and Lid of the Raad van Toezicht at Zorggroep Manna from 2006 to 2017, and Clustermanager Beschouwend at MC Groep from 2014 to 2015. Elza has a robust background in cardiology, thoracic intensive care, and oncology management from Medisch Spectrum Twente and educational credentials including a Master's degree in Healthcare Management from Erasmus University Rotterdam, a Masterclass for healthcare administrators from Erasmus Centrum voor Zorgbestuur, and a Stolten Advanced Program from Tilburg University.
