Anthony Brower

Anthony Brower, FAIA, LEED Fellow, is an Associate Principal and the Americas Head of Sustainability at Populous since July 2024. As an Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern California since August 2022, Anthony teaches courses on thermal and sustainable design. A contributing writer for Metropolis Magazine since July 2020 and previously for Building Design & Construction Magazine and Green Building and Design, Anthony has held significant roles at Gensler from January 2005 to July 2024, including Global Director of Climate Action and Sustainability and Chief Sustainability Officer. Early career experiences include positions at JLS Industries, Murno & Veneziale Architects, and Willis Engineers Inc. Anthony holds both a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
