Heather Worthen, M.Ed, CAPM has extensive work experience in the field of education and student services. Heather is currently serving as the Director of Student Services at Poquoson City Public Schools. Prior to this, they worked as a Special Education Department member at Suffolk Public Schools. Heather also held the position of Program Coordinator for Teacher Education at Manchester Community College. Heather has experience as a Director of Student Services at SAU 95 and Windham Middle School. Additionally, they served as the Special Education Elementary Coordinator at Mascoma Regional School District SAU 62. Heather has had significant roles at SAU 43 Newport/Croydon, where they oversaw various special education programs and acted as Principal for Croydon Village School. Heather has also worked as a Special Education Facilitator at SAU 19 Goffstown Area School District and as a Special Education Coordinator at SAU 53 Deerfield School District. Heather obtained their Bachelor's Degree from Keene State College, studying Elementary Education, Special Education, and English. Heather continued their education at Plymouth State University, where they pursued their Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, specializing in Special Education Administration.

Additionally, they attended the Project Management Institute and successfully completed the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) program in 2016. This certification provided their with a comprehensive understanding of project management principles.
