Erik Shafer

Erik Shafer is an experienced professional with a background in ecommerce, photography, web design, and database administration. Currently serving as ERP & Database Admin at Por La Mar Nursery since April 2021, Erik previously held roles as Studio Photographer and Web Designer at XCVI, where responsibilities included studio photography, photo retouching, and ecommerce support for multiple brands. Prior to XCVI, Erik was an Ecommerce Manager at Bluer Denim and an Assistant Ecommerce Manager at Agave Denim, focusing on online store management, inventory, and customer service. Earlier experience includes a position as Curatorial Assistant at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History, specializing in digital macrophotography, and an internship at the University of California, Santa Cruz, aimed at environmental conservation. Erik holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
