Mike Capuzzi

Mike Capuzzi has over 35 years of work experience in the insurance and automotive industry. Mike currently holds the position of Vice President of Insurance Sales and Claims at Porch Group. Prior to this, they served as the Interim General Manager at Elite Insurance Group.

Before joining Porch Group, Mike worked at Allstate for nearly a decade, where they held the position of Senior Vice President of Auto Claims. In this role, they were responsible for the design and delivery of national claims liability and auto physical damage assessment and adjudication.

Additionally, Mike has also served as the Chairman of the Board at NICB and as a Board Member for several years. Mike was also a Board Member at Arbitration Forums, where they played a key role in directing the company's strategy.

Earlier in their career, Mike worked at Progressive Insurance for over 25 years, holding various leadership positions. Mike served as the Central Services Business Leader, managing a team of over 2000 people and overseeing various claims handling operations. Mike also served as the Claims Customer Relationship Process Manager, focusing on improving the customer experience in claims. In addition, they served as the Minnesota State Claims Manager, overseeing all facets of the claims operations in the state.

Mike began their career at Avis Rent a Car as a Shift Manager, where they led the retail airport operation and managed customer service delivery and recovery.

Overall, Mike Capuzzi has demonstrated expertise in insurance sales, claims management, process design, and customer experience improvement throughout their career.

Mike Capuzzi earned an Executive Certificate in Business from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management in 2003. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Business and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls between 1980 and 1984. Before attending college, they graduated from Cumberland High School in 1980, where they completed a College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program.
