Kevin Foster

Senior Bioscience Development Engineer at Porex

Kevin Foster has a diverse work experience in the engineering field, primarily in product development and sales. Kevin started their career at Nautilus Sports/Medical Industries as a Project Engineer, where they successfully led the redevelopment of existing commercial grade exercise equipment. Kevin then joined Porex Medical as a Product Development Engineer, where they worked on the research and development of porous implantable material for bone replacement, and also developed products for surgical and medical markets, obtaining patents for unique blood collection closures. Foster later moved to Porex Technologies, where they held various roles including Sales/Product Development Engineer, Product Development Engineer, and Senior BioScience Development Engineer. In these positions, they worked on market-changing projects, revitalized a dying market segment, and developed advanced porous media for use in diagnostic devices, among other responsibilities. Foster has proven expertise in concept development, prototyping, production, and quality management.

Kevin Foster attended Gate City High School for an unspecified period. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, graduating in 1983.
